What’s the problem with microfibres?

Every time we wash clothes that are made from man-made fibres they shed tiny micro plastics that make their way through our water treatment plants and into our oceans when they attract harmful chemicals from the water and eventually end up in our bodies through the seafood we eat. Gross eh!?
