I remember reading this book for the first time with my Mum when I was about 5 or 6. It was the same copy she read when she was little and I now read it at least twice a year!
A Little Princess is my favourite because I love the main character, Sara. She is a strong and powerful young woman and has an awesome imagination and is very kind, even when she faces hardships. The book is set in the early 1900s and was written by the same woman who wrote The Secret Garden.
