Waitrose to ditch black plastic packaging from 2019

Waitrose has said it will stop putting its own-label food in black packaging by the end of 2019 and won’t use it for meat, fish, fruit and veg beyond the end of this year. Black plastic packaging is hard to recycle and often ends up in landfill.
