Surfers and bodyboarders more likely to have antibiotic resistant E-coli in guts

New research has revealed that regular surfers and bodyboarders are three times more likely to have antibiotic resistant E. coli in their guts than non-surfers. The research highlights how important it is to continue to reduce the amount of pollution reaching our seas and to look at how we can change our practices on land to achieve this.
