Are we eating ‘nanoplastics’?

Scientists have revealed for the first time how minuscule pieces of plastic can make their way up the food chain and ultimately onto our dinner plates. Nanoplastics are smaller than microplastics at less than a billionth of a centimetre wide. More evidence that plastic pollution must be tackled now.
